BeeSafe, s.r.o. is a successful Slovak startup company from Zilina that has been on the market since May 2015. BeeSafe develops innovative B2G and B2B solutions which seek to solve problems related to personal safety, employee safety, and safety monitoring; both inside and outside the GSM coverage. Currently, our product has more than 7000 downloads from more than 108 countries, we run three corporate pilots and actively support NGOs.

BeeSafe. s.r.o. was founded by Peter Stražovec and Michal Kačerík and was officially registered in the Commercial Register in 2015. Immediately after, it was selected as one of the finalists in the Slovak Startup Awards and was invited to such prestigious conferences as TechCrunch Disrupt in London or Slush 2015 in Helsinki. Since then, BeeSafe received numerous updates and grew into a mature security platform that meets the most demanding criteria of dependability.

Today, the company works with corporations and municipalities on improving occupational health and safety as well as personal safety of citizens in public spaces. In the case of the former, BeeSafe provides cities with a security platform, thanks to which each citizen’s BeeSafe app is connected directly to the municipal police. In the case of the latter, BeeSafe supplies corporations with a smart security platform for employee monitoring and incident reporting.

At the same time, BeeSafe works with multiple NGOs while being one of the most active Slovak companies in promoting occupational and personal safety standards. Together with the International Organisation for Migration, BeeSafe educates people on how to avoid falling prey to human trafficking. Since 2016, the app is also being used by doctors and medics on several humanitarian missions in Africa and Asia.
